Marcelo Novati nació en Buenos Aires el 21 de
marzo de 1969. A los 11 años comienza a estudiar batería con los
profesores Alex Sanguinetti, Héctor Ruiz y Jota Morelli, luego forma
su primera banda en la escuela. A los 17 años empieza a tocar
profesionalmente con Sandra y Celeste con la que realizó giras por
América del Sur. Después de unos años tocando con Ruben
Goldin y con el virtuoso guitarrista Luis Salinas,
es llamado por el gran artista argentino Luis Alberto
Spinetta para grabar su nuevo álbum en directo titulado
"Exactas". En 92/93 se va gira por Europa con el pianista
Lito Vitale, con quien grabó dos discos, tambien en
Argentina tocó y grabó con Nacha Guevara,
Viuda e hijas de Roque Enroll, Patricia Sosa
y Juan Carlos Baglietto.
En 1997 se traslada a Madrid, España, donde comienza a trabajar,
tocando y grabando con grandes artistas como Ketama, Mecano,
Presuntos Implicados, Miguel Bosé,
Pedro Guerra, Najwa Nimri, Carlos
Jean, Miguel Rios, Victor
Manuel, Ana Belen, Pereza,
Amaral, Manolo Garcia, Alejo
Stivel, Armando Manzanero,
Milton Nascimento, Paulina Rubio,
Julieta Venegas, Coti, Tommy
Torres, Joan Manuel Serrat, Alejandro
Lerner y Niña Pastori, y su propia
banda LEGÜERO entre otro. En 2016 entra como miembro permanente de
la banda de JUANES. Actualmente se encuentra radicado en Miami
girando con JUANES Y grabando baterías online en su propio estudio
NOVAESTUDIOS MIAMI para varios productores.

After a few years playing with Ruben Goldin and virtuoso guitarist Luis Salinas, is called by the great Argentinean artist Luis Alberto Spinetta to record their new live album entitled " Exactas " . In 92/93 he went on tour to Europe with pianist Lito Vitale, with whom he recorded two albums in Argentina. He also played and recorded with Nacha Guevara, Viuda e Hijas de Roque Enroll, Patricia Sosa and Juan Carlos Baglietto .

In 2016 he joins Latin star JUANES's band. Currently he is living in Miami, touring with JUANES and tracking drums online at his own studio NOVAESTUDIOS MIAMI for different producers.
